ACTIVITIES/INFORMATION (SCHOOL RELATED)

Any girls interested in playing soccer in the fall should plan on attending a meeting on June 1st, 3:00 in the cafeteria.

There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in running Cross Country on June 2nd at 2:45 in the LGIC. 

Seniors!  It’s time to sign up for the senior vs. staff softball game which will take place on Tuesday, June 2nd after school. You can sign up at the Activities Office window or contact Spencer Best or Emmylee Holt for more information.

NOTES FROM THE GUIDANCE OFFICE & CAREER CENTER

Teen Mentors are needed for next year.  Be a big brother or big sister to an elementary student.  Come to the Career Center to pick up an application.  

Columbia Heights Elementary School is looking for counselors for their CISPUS program in September.  This is an opportunity to earn service to school or community service hours.  Applications are available in the Career Center and must be completed and returned by May 30th. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPTIONS

The 2015 Family Fun Obstacle & Color Course will be Saturday, May 30th at Mt. Solo Middle School.  This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours or service to school points!  Volunteers can show up anytime from 7am to 6pm at the front of Mt. Solo.  Stop by the Career Center for more information.

Volunteers are needed for the Buddy Club Prom which will take place on May 30th at the Youth and Family Link. Volunteers are also needed for decorations and planning.  Call Madeline Rooklidge at the ARC at 425-5494 or email madelinerooklidge@lifeworkswa.org.

LCC needs eight volunteers to be camp counselors for a three-day middle school STEM camp August 18-20.  See Mrs. Peters in the Career Center for more information.
