ACTIVITIES/INFORMATION (SCHOOL RELATED)

Auditions for the Madrigal Dinner play will be held in the RAL auditorium on Friday, October 17, from 2:45-4 p.m.  No prepared piece is needed.  For more information, contact Susan Donahue or check out the flyers around school.

FALL TOLO IS ON OCTOBER 25. THE COST IS $10 WITH A PAID ASB CARD AND $12 WITHOUT AN ASB. IF YOU WANT TO BRING A STUDENT WHO IS NOT ENROLLED AT MARK MORRIS, YOU CAN PICK UP A GUEST DANCE PASS AT THE ACTIVITIES WINDOW BEGINNING  FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH. THE PASS MUST BE RETURNED COMPLETED WITH A COPY OF YOUR GUEST’S PICTURE ID NO LATER THAN 3PM FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17.

SOFTBALL PLAYERS:  There will be an informational parent meeting for softball players on Monday, October 20th at 6:00pm in the LGIC.  The meeting is for returning players and incoming Freshmen players as well.  The main topic is fundraising plans for a possible trip to California. 

SENIORS: Orders for cap & gowns will be taken on Wednesday and Thursday, October 22nd and 23rd during both lunches.

MATH TEAM:  The math team will meet next Wednesday, October 22nd after school in Mr. Stanberry’s room, C-16.

SASQUATCH CLUB will meet Tuesday, October 21st  after school in room A-1.  We will discuss upcoming events.  Shirts will be on sale October 20th thru the 31st during both lunches.

RUNNING START winter registration is October 23rd from 8:30-1:30 in the LGIC.

NOTES FROM THE GUIDANCE OFFICE & CAREER CENTER

ATTENTION SENIORS & FAMILIES – Order forms for cap & gowns and announcements were handed out to seniors on October 3, 2014.  Orders for senior items will be taken at the high school on Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd during both lunches.  You can also order online at www.highschool.herffjones.com or by mail.  A $60 payment is required with your order and remaining balances must be paid by March 1, 2015.  If you have questions please contact Herff Jones at (360) 254-7870 or the MM Guidance Office at 575-7670.

FFL ROBOTICS TEAMS are looking for volunteers.  Teams meet at CVG on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 pm, and at Mark Morris on Mondays from 5:30-7:30 pm.  See Mr. Koenig for more information.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPTIONS:

ACTIVITIES/INFORMATION (NON-SCHOOL RELATED)

Science Club will meet on Wednesday, October 22 right after school at 1:30pm in room D-9.   Everyone is welcome.  We will be experimenting with lasers and mirrors!

Discover LCC Night  Learn about programs and degrees, online classes, how to get started, financial aid, and much more! 
Thursday, October, 23 from 6:00 – 7:00 in the LCC Student Center.  Light refreshments will be served.  More information please contact Kami Collette @ 360-442-2411.

Angel Closet dress giveaway is located at 1811 Washington Way & will be open on Saturday, November 1, from 10:00-2:00.

The Washington Council High School College Fair   It’s time to start the college search and we’ve made it easy for you.  We’re bringing the colleges to you!!!  Tuesday, November 18th, 5:30 – 7:30 in the Health and Science Building Commons at LCC.  More information is in the career center or you can call Ashley Bemm at 360-442-2357.
